Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask River View). They blew past the College Place Hawks 18-3 on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won four matchups in a row.

River View's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for College Place, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River View will challenge Columbia at 3:00 p.m. on the 8th. As for College Place, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Royal at 3:00 p.m. on the 15th.
