Lynnfield waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. Everything went their way against the Georgetown Royals as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-8, 25-16.

Leading Lynnfield to victory were Elliana Moretti and Carina DeLeo. Moretti had ten digs and two assists, while DeLeo had 15 assists and three digs. Moretti has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Lynnfield was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 20 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Lynnfield's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Georgetown, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-15.

Lynnfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Triton Regional on the 24th. As for Georgetown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Whittier RVT on the 23rd.
