Colon's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nic Mock, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Mock is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dalton Williams, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Colon's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8. As for Climax-Scotts, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
Colon will be playing in front of their home fans against Pittsford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Climax-Scotts, they will head out on the road to square off against St. Philip Catholic Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
