Howell Central had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Timberland on Wednesday. The Spartans blew past the T-Wolves 9-2. Considering the Spartans have won 14 matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Howell Central's win bumped their record up to 22-19. As for Timberland, they dropped their record down to 20-13 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Howell Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-2 defeat against Howell on the 23rd. Timberland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
