The Harding Skippers have not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. Everything went their way against Kingsway Christian on Friday as Harding made off with a 37-16 victory. That's another feather in the cap for Harding, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Madisen Mcfadden was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Harding's points. Madison Hunt was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with four blocks and two steals.
Harding's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Kingsway Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harding will stay at home for another game and welcome the Lakers at 5:30 p.m. on February 6th. Kingsway Christian will take on the at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
