After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Pioneer, the Live Oak Acorns were happy to have found some success  on Thursday. They walked away with  a   57-46  win over Mt. Pleasant. That's another feather in the cap for Live Oak, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Live Oak to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Austin Jennings, who  scored 16 points along with eight  rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which  Jennings has scored at least 25% of Live Oak's points.  Raymond Ramirez was another key contributor,  scoring 16 points.
 Mt. Pleasant's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Elias Galey, who  scored 12 points. The  match was  Galey's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Felix  Enow, who  scored 11 points.
 Live Oak's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Mt. Pleasant, they now  have a losing record at 5-6.
 Live Oak and Calvary Chapel will round out the year against one another at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday at. One thing working in Calvary Chapel's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last four contests. Mt. Pleasant will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Yerba Buena at 7:00  p.m.  on January 3, 2024.
