The Lake Ridge Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Boswell Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lake Ridge comes in on three and Boswell on seven.
Last Friday, Lake Ridge was able to grind out a solid win over Memorial, taking the game 53-44.
Boswell has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 23 points or more this season. They blew past Lake Dallas 68-44. Given Boswell's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while Lake Dallas is ranked 799th), the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Boswell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Camille Williams led the charge by scoring 22 points along with 7 rebounds. The matchup was Williams' 13th in a row with at least ten points. Sydney Durrah was another key contributor, scoring 22 points along with 3 steals.
Lake Ridge's victory lifted them to 9-5 while Memorial's defeat dropped them down to 7-7.
