Field came tearing into Wednesday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Streetsboro Rockets. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Field pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Streetsboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Field will face off against Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Streetsboro, they will be playing at home against Crestwood at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
