South Hardin took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Everything went their way against the West Marshall Trojans as they made off with a 28-7 win. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.

Among those leading the charge was Peyton Welch, who threw for 202 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in September of 2024. South Hardin's leading receiver Sam Benson was Welch's top target yet again, picking up 129 receiving yards and one TD.
