Stoughton were the first on the board but had to settle for second in the end in their game against Catholic Memorial on Friday. Stoughton came up short against Catholic Memorial, falling 7-20. Stoughton were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Catholic Memorial apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat from the last time the teams met up.
The loss dropped Stoughton back to even at 1-1. The victory bumped Catholic Memorial's record up to 2-0.
Stoughton will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Foxborough at Canton H.S. at 7:00 PM. As for Catholic Memorial, they will face off against St. Mary's.
