Central California recap September 17, 2013
Turlock scaled the state rankings by moving to 134 from 177 this week, the biggest jump in Central California. The Bulldogs climbed the ranks as a result of besting Enochs 27-8.
Atwater took down Roosevelt 81-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Merced's Tyrone Williams and Trevante Richard have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-4 quarterback Williams has thrown for 473 yards this season, while Richard has 10 catches for 229 yards. Buhach Colony's Aundre Sherman leads the league in rushing yards with 255.
Turlock made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,518 from 2,035. The improvement was the result of 27-8 victory over the Eagles last week.
