The Highmore/Harrold Pirates entered their tilt with the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Highmore/Harrold blew past the Crusaders 62-36. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Highmore/Harrold had established a 24 point advantage.
Despite the loss, Sunshine Bible Academy still got an impressive performance from Trey Thieman, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Thieman is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Kalacinski, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Highmore/Harrold is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Sunshine Bible Academy, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highmore/Harrold will take on the Scotties at TBD on Saturday. As for Sunshine Bible Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patriots at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
