R.W. Goines Stem Academy kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 52-34 bruising from the Bell Blue Raiders.
Bell's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hannah Due, who posted 20 points along with six assists and two steals. Another player making a difference was Madi Capers, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
The win got Bell back to even at 2-2.
