It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 33-0 victory over Green Canyon. The victory was familiar territory for Crimson Cliffs who now have 12 in a row.
Crimson Cliffs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Steele Barben, who threw for 295 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler West, who picked up 138 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Crimson Cliffs' defense and their 4.5 sacks. The heavy lifting was done by McKay WRIGHT and Parker Andrus who racked up four sacks between them.
Crimson Cliffs' victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.77 points. As for Green Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.
Crimson Cliffs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Green Canyon also has no future games currently scheduled.
