Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against the Imhotep Charter Panthers at 5:30  p.m.  on February 8th. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  point totals in their previous games.
 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding  64-32 victory over the Braves on the road. Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight  games by 20  points or more this season.
 Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech found their leader in underclassman  Haneef Davis, who  scored 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Davis has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zachary Campbell, who  scored 15 points.
 Meanwhile, Imhotep Charter came tearing into  Sunday's  match with three straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   58-49  win over Mt. Zion Prep Academy.
 Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Imhotep Charter, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.
 Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech took a serious blow against Imhotep Charter  in their previous matchup  back in December of 2023, falling  75-42. Can Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
