The Linden Lions lost against the Weston Ranch Cougars last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Linden ended up on the wrong side of a rough 6-2 walloping at the hands of Weston Ranch. Linden has struggled against Weston Ranch recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Marco Leva and
Gian Baumgartner did their best for Linden and scored both of Linden's goals. Those were goals were season-firsts for both players.
Linden's loss dropped their record down to 11-6-5. As for Weston Ranch, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4-2 record this season.
Linden will head out on the road to challenge Pacheco at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Weston Ranch, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with West Park sitting on six straight victories and Weston Ranch on 12.
