Even though the Quad Cities Christian Eagles have not done well against the Faith Christian Falcons recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Quad Cities Christian walked away with a 42-32 win over the Falcons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Quad Cities Christian.
Leading Quad Cities Christian to victory were Kennedy Ochkie and Piper Ochkie. Ochkie scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Ochkie dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten steals.
Quad Cities Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. As for Faith Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quad Cities Christian will face off against the Eagles at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday. East Moline Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last seven games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. Faith Christian will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Christian Life will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
