The Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Felicity-Franklin Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Lynchburg-Clay's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. The contest between them and North Adams wasn't particularly close, with Lynchburg-Clay falling 57-41. While losing is never fun, Lynchburg-Clay can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 612th, while North Adams is ranked 144th).
Meanwhile, Felicity-Franklin pushed their score all the way to 59 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 78-59 fall against Fayetteville-Perry. Felicity-Franklin has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Caleb Ninichuck, who scored 14 points along with three blocks. It was the first time this season that he posted two or more blocks. Another player making a difference was Hayden Broadwell, who scored ten points.
