The Catonsville Comets entered their tilt with the Towson Generals with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Catonsville took down the Generals 66-48 on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Catonsville also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Despite the loss, Towson still got an impressive performance from Braden Renner, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Renner hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Moss, who scored 14 points.
Catonsville is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Towson, they dropped their record down to 8-10 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Catonsville will face off against the Mavericks at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Eastern Tech is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Towson, they will head out on the road to take on the Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Randallstown knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully the Generals like a good challenge.
