Despite the loss, Harnett Central had strong showings from Rylan Beasley, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and four blocks, and Quan Dixon, who scored nine points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Beasley also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. Kaleb McKinnis was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Pine Forest's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dwayne Johnson, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Malachi Cooke, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
