Coral Park is 2-8 against Braddock since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. Having just played yesterday, the Coral Park Rams will get right back to it and host the Braddock Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on November 30th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
On Wednesday, Coral Park ended up a good deal behind Miami Christian and lost 80-61. Coral Park has not had much luck with Miami Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Even though Braddock has not done well against South Miami recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Braddock blew past South Miami 60-14 at home. With Braddock ahead 40-8 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Braddock got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Markus Zenck out in front who scored 14 points along with 4 steals. Alejandro Lopez was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 4 steals.
Their wins bumped Coral Park to 1-1 and Miami Christian to 5-0.
Coral Park couldn't quite finish off Braddock in their previous meeting back in February and fell 46-43. Can Coral Park avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
