The Chipley Tigers won the last time they faced the Blountstown Tigers, and things went their way on Friday too. Chipley snuck past Blountstown with a 32-26 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Chipley.
Loss or not, Blountstown got some senior leadership from Amarion Hover who rushed for 168 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry and Bryant Washington who rushed for 210 yards and a touchdown while picking up 13.1 yards per carry.
Chipley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Blountstown, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.
Chipley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Blountstown also has no future games currently scheduled.
