The Brentwood Bruins lost against the Page Patriots last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Brentwood wound up with the same score they had in their last game (46-36), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points they have scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Brentwood lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ella Ryan. Despite the final result, she scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ava Jarrett, who scored nine points.
Samantha Lee had an outrageously good game for Page as she scored 14 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Lee also posted two blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mary Fox, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Brentwood's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-4. As for Page, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-7.
Brentwood will be playing at home against Ravenwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ravenwood is coming into the match with three straight defeats on the road, meaning Brentwood will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Page, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Nolensville at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. Hopefully Page focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
