The Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Hebron Hawks at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lake Station Edison will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Lake Station Edison had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 17-run drubbing they dealt Gary West Side on Saturday. The Fighting Eagles never let the Cougars get on the board and left with a 17-0 win.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hebron, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Calumet Christian with a sharp 8-1 victory on Monday.
Spencer Spinks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out nine over 5.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Carter Riley was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.
Hebron pushed their record up to 15-10-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Lake Station Edison, their record now sits at 9-12.
