Last Tuesday, Spotsylvania had to suffer through a rough 71-25 loss at the hands of the Cyclones. While losing is never fun, Spotsylvania can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while the Cyclones are ranked 192nd).
Meanwhile, Chancellor strolled past the Cavaliers with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 65-49.
Chancellor's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Ja?Den Mckoy was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.

Spotsylvania was dealt a bruising 82-45 loss at the hands of the Chargers in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Mckoy, who scored 20 points along with two steals.
