The Echols County Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Charlton County, falling 99-49. Echols County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 59-27.
It was another big night for Jack Braddock, who shot 7-for-11 from deep and almost dropped a double-double on 31 points and nine steals for Charlton County. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Braddock has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'mari Hamilton, who scored 19 points along with five assists and three steals.
Charlton County used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Echols County. And. Leon Cribb jr. made the most of the opportunity, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and four steals. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.
Echols County has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season. As for Charlton County, they now have a winning record of 13-12.
