The White Pine Bobcats's four-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They really took it to Laughlin for the full four quarters, racking up a 51-14 win on the road. The victory was just what White Pine needed coming off of a 57-12 defeat in their prior match.
Brenley Skadburg was on fire: she scored 21 points along with 9 rebounds and 8 steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Mallory Thompson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
White Pine's win bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Laughlin, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Lincoln County the next time they take the court. White Pine will head out to face Lincoln County at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, while Laughlin will host them at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
