The Lennox Academy Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by New Roads 73-40. Lennox Academy lost against New Roads in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 71-51 score last time.
Despite the loss, Lennox Academy still got an impressive performance from Andrew Anderson, who scored 17 points.
Lennox Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for New Roads, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Lennox Academy will look to defend their home court on Monday against Wildwood at 7:00 p.m. As for New Roads, they will head out on the road to face off against Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
