Everything went their way against the Jordan Red Jackets on Wednesday as the Glenwood Gators made off with an 11-1 win. Given the Gators' advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 75th in Alabama, while the Red Jackets are ranked 407th in Georgia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Glenwood's offense was hitting Jordan from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Makenna Casner led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.
Glenwood's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-4. As for Jordan, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.
