After flying high against the Amandla Charter School Bobcats last Tuesday, the Air Force Academy Falcons came back down to earth. Air Force Academy's tough 60-37 defeat to Chicago Mathematics & Science on Friday might stick with them for a while.
It was another big night for Marcus Hughes-Bey, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and four steals for Chicago Mathematics & Science. Hughes-Bey is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Joune Woods was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with three steals and three blocks.
Air Force Academy now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Chicago Mathematics & Science, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
Air Force Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Chicago Mathematics & Science's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Bowen at 5:00 p.m. on January 29th. Bowen will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
