Dayton have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Pendleton County on the road at Senior Night at 7:30 PM on Friday. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close game.
Dayton took a serious blow against Bellevue two weeks ago, falling 6-49. Dayton were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-28.
Meanwhile, Pendleton County didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 8-12 to Bracken County last week.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous matchup, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
