While losing is never fun, Bunn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 497th, while Nash Central is ranked 201st).
Despite the defeat, Bunn got a solid performance out of Alana Sanders, who scored eight points. That was a full 44.4% of Bunn's points, marking the 13th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Roanoke Rapids has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Bunn, they bumped their record down to 1-12 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
