Northwestern found their leader in sophomore Neiman Lawrence, who threw for 406 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 84% of his passes. Those 406 passing yards set a new season-high mark for Lawrence. Calvin Russell Jr. also helped out as he racked up 127 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Bishop Moore hadn't done well against Eau Gallie recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Hornets came out on top in a nail-biter against the Commodores, sneaking past 31-28.
Northwestern better keep an eye on Amar'E Johnson. He was instrumental in Bishop Moore's win, rushing for 216 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. Johnson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.
