The Dunellen Destroyers stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Piscataway Vo-Tech as Dunellen made off with a 50-30 victory. That's two games straight that Dunellen has won by exactly 20 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dunellen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wendy Woll, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Woll has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Sophie Jimenez, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Dunellen pushed their record up to 10-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Piscataway Vo-Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing South Amboy the next time they take the court. Piscataway Vo-Tech will host South Amboy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Dunellen will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
