The Lincoln Lynx put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Valley Christian 59-31 at home. Lincoln has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 28 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lincoln to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kayden Riddle, who scored 15 points along with five steals. Riddle is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Brown, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Lincoln pushed their record up to 11-0 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Valley Christian, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Lincoln won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Power at 4:00 p.m. on January 27th. Power will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Montana Rankings (they are ranked 124th, while Lincoln is ranked 25th). As for Valley Christian, Valley Christian and Drummond will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
