Softball Recap: Dodge County's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Dodge County entered their tilt with Jefferson County on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Warriors a 12-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 11 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Gabriella Robinson was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Harrell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one stolen base.

Dodge County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Dodge County now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Jefferson County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.
