Eastern Lebanon County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 42-7 loss at the hands of the West York Area Bulldogs. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West York Area to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jensen Ferber, who threw for 228 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 45 yards and one TD. Those 45 rushing yards gave Ferber a new career-high. Aidan Wagner was another key rusher, rushing for 119 yards and one score.
Coming up, Eastern Lebanon County will challenge Conrad Weiser at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West York Area, they will be playing at home against Red Lion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
