The Battle Mountain Huskies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 46-22 walloping at the hands of Eagle Valley. Battle Mountain has struggled against Eagle Valley recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Battle Mountain still got an impressive performance from Elle Glendining, who scored three points along with four steals. Ari Gill was another key contributor, scoring five points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Abby Talbot was the offensive standout of the game as she dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Mandeville, who scored five points along with three steals.
Battle Mountain has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Eagle Valley, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.
Battle Mountain will take on Evergreen at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Eagle Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Grand Junction Central at 11:30 a.m.
