Basketball Recap: Skidmore-Tynan Drops Season-High Score on Banquete

Skidmore-Tynan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 45-32 to the Banquete Bulldogs. On the bright side, the 32- point performance marked the Bobcats' highest-scoring game to date.

Despite the defeat, Skidmore-Tynan saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Andrew Castaneda posted 14 points.

Skidmore-Tynan's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Banquete, their record is now 2-3.

Coming up, Skidmore-Tynan will challenge Austwell-Tivoli at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Banquete, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-22 defeat against Randolph on the 4th.
