Tahoma's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Shane Nelson threw for 347 and 2 touchdowns and Deshon Williams had 151 yards receiving. On the ground Jerome Woods chipped in 77 yards. Denham Patricelli helped Tahoma's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 138 yards.
Derek Hart made the biggest impact on defense this week as Auburn Riverside lost to Curtis. The 6-foot-3 senior racked up 2 sacks.
Williams was the best receiver in the league this week as the Bears topped Kentwood. Williams racked up 9 receptions for 151 yards. Patricelli helped Tahoma's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 138 yards.
Tahoma's Nelson and Williams have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Nelson has thrown for 2,043 yards this season, while Williams has 46 catches for 800 yards. The Ravens' Cole Huckaby leads the league in rushing yards with 462.
The top two teams in 4A South Puget Sound - North will face off this week when first place Auburn Riverside takes on second place Kentwood.
The longest pass in the league this week was acheived by Auburn Riverside's Kevin Thomson. Bryant Thomas' team lost to the Vikings when he connected with Drew Wallen on a 52-yard pass.
