Even though the Harding Skippers have not done well against the Berkshire Badgers recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Harding slipped by Berkshire 60-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Among those leading the charge was James Gadomski, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Parsons, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Harding's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Berkshire, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harding will challenge Wickliffe at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Berkshire will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crestwood at 6:45 p.m. on December 13th.
