Connor Dorman of Brookhaven Academy ran for the longest rushing play in MAIS AA District 5 this season against Amite last week. Dorman scampered for 79 yards on the play and finished with 138 on the day as his team bested the Rebels.
Adams County Christian and Cenla Christian Academy played the most contested game in the league this week, with Adams County Christian eventually emerging with a 23-20 victory. Trey Fleming threw for 10 yards and caught 1 pass for 65 yards in the win.

Thanks to the talents of Hickman and Dorman, Tripp McCarty's team has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Hickman is tops in the league in passing with 669 yards, while Dorman has rushed for 374 yards this season. Adams County Christian's Fleming leads the league in receiving yards with 197 on 9 catches.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Adams County Christian takes on second place Prentiss Christian. Last week, the Rebels bested Cenla Christian Academy, while Prentiss Christian topped Park Place Christian Academy.
