Meanwhile, Barrington waltzed into their match on Friday with eight straight wins but they left with nine. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 68-35 win over Mt. Pleasant. Barrington has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 27 points or more this season.
Nick Scandura was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Leonard, who scored nine points.
Bishop Hendricken is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Barrington, their win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1.
Bishop Hendricken came up short against Barrington when the teams last played back in January, falling 53-41. Can Bishop Hendricken avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
