If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for South Central Calhoun. On Friday they take on IKM/Manning at 7:00 PM. South Central Calhoun will be looking to build upon the 42-28 win they picked up against IKM/Manning the last time they played.
South Central Calhoun took their match against Kuemper last Friday by a conclusive 36-6 score. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point South Central Calhoun had established a 33-0 advantage.
Meanwhile, the struggle was real when IKM/Manning and Underwood clashed, but the former ultimately edged out the latter 28-26. The margin of victory was a little narrower than expected seeing as IKM/Manning are ranked 132 places ahead of Underwood in the state rankings.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 2-0. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when South Central Calhoun and IKM/Manning clash.
