Richfield took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against St. Anthony Village, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Spartans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Huskies on Tuesday, sneaking past 12-11. The Spartans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Richfield's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for St. Anthony Village, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richfield will take on Breck at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Anthony Village, they will face off against Visitation at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blazers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Huskies' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
