They lost to Juniata Christian on the road by a decisive 44-27 margin on Tuesday. If Bridgeport Baptist Academy hoped to take revenge for the 43-20 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
Juniata Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nathan Wright out in front who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Smith, who scored 12 points.
Bridgeport Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Juniata Christian, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-7.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Community Baptist Christian the next time they take the court. Juniata Christian will host Community Baptist Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, while Bridgeport Baptist Academy will host them at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
