Basketball Recap: Ezrah Kaheaku Key Part of a Team Effort in Titans Win

There's no place like home for Antelope, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with an 81-74 win over the Kennedy Cougars on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Titans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Antelope's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ezrah Kaheaku, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 22 points and four blocks. Those 22 points gave Kaheaku a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Malichai Brown, who went 6 for 13 en route to 19 points.

Kennedy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aharon Young, who posted 15 points. Jordan Lawrence was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Antelope's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Kennedy, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing McClatchy the next time they take the court. Kennedy will head out to face McClatchy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Antelope will host them at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th.
