The North Summit Braves posted their biggest win yet this season on Wednesday. They put the hurt on North Sevier with a sharp 63-37 victory. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-10.
North Summit got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trevor Richins out in front who scored eight points along with six steals and five assists. Jake Smith was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
North Summit is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for North Sevier, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
North Summit will head out on the road to take on Gunnison Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Sevier, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Duchesne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
