Marble Falls walked away with a 45-33 win over Lago Vista on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Marble Falls, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Marble Falls was led to victory by Bethany Fry and Lexie Edwards. Fry scored 12 points along with eight rebounds, while Edwards scored ten points along with nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kylie Roberts, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and five steals.
Saylor Stamos and Eliana Helton certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Stamos scored 11 points along with nine rebounds and six steals, while Helton scored seven points along with ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Helton pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Marble Falls' win bumped their record up to 7-19. As for Lago Vista, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-16.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Burnet the next time they take the court. Lago Vista will host Burnet at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Marble Falls will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
