Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Delano Tigers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell 43-36 to Reedley on Friday. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Reedley found their leader in underclassman Will Bacon, who rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 91 yards and a touchdown on only six passes.
Delano's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Reedley, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-7 record this season.
Delano does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Reedley will head out on the road to face off against Wasco at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
